A few months ago, we brought you the ’33 Hot Rod kit from Factory Five Racing (FFR). One of the coolest new products to debut at the 2008 SEMA show; the FFR Hot Rod is a modern day version of the 1933 Ford. The FFR ’33 was designed from a clean sheet of paper using the latest CAD/CAM technology resulting in a lightweight car with sports car handling and room to fit Ford’s 4.6L, 4-valve engine.
Factory Five recently announced the availability of two new fender options for their ’33 Hot Rod. Full fenders with running boards, as well as smaller motorcycle style fenders are available.
FFR Hot Rod Complete Fender Kit
Composite molded fender set includes full front and rear ’33 style hand laid fiberglass fenders and integral running boards. Parts are vinylester resin finished with sandable gel-coat. Set includes fasteners to mount to vehicle. Running boards are not weight bearing design. This is sold as a complete assembly. Individual parts may be ordered separately.
These fenders are removable and fasten into the engine side covers. If you plan to change between using fenders part time and running open wheel part time, FFR recommends purchasing a second set of engine side covers to avoid bolt holes and scratches on the painted side cover.
