The company that is known for its unyielding commitment to technology and performance innovation is taking another leap forward with the new wheel line that combines weight-optimized CNC machined forged aluminum centers with Emergent's revolutionary proprietary carbon fiber barrels. The innovative made-to-order wheel series delivers the ultimate in technological advancement, exclusive styling and unprecedented lightweight performance. Forgeline's Carbon+Forged wheels are engineered to an entirely new set of appearance and performance standards, featuring super lightweight carbon fiber barrels that utilize a high-density carbon fiber bundle, a high-clarity resin system and an unusually large carbon weave pattern. These high-tech characteristics create rims that are visually distinctive and 42% lighter than equivalent aluminum wheels. The weight reduction is achieved in the wheel's most critical outer perimeter where the greatest reduction in unwanted inertia is achieved for real-world improvements in acceleration, braking, cornering, ride quality, NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness), driver/passenger comfort and fuel economy. The superior quality carbon fiber barrels of Forgeline's Carbon+Forged wheels are engineered and tested to deliver industry-leading levels of fatigue strength, impact and damage resistance and deflection stiffness.
